Saturday 7th September

  • 9:00 am – 12:00 pm – Spring Floral Workshop 1 – Spring Bridal Bouquet
  • 10:00 am – Exhibitor market place opens
  • 10:00 am – Festival Opening by Cllr Gary Baildon and Festival Patron, Mayoress Ruth Tate.
  • 10:15 am – Welcome to Country by Glenn Barry. Glenn on didgeridoo and Bobby RunningFox on Native American flute accompany indigenous weaver Rebecca Ray.
  • 10:00 am – 11:30 am – Succulent Wall Art Workshop
  • 11:00 am – Jaguar Garden Bar opens. Sit back and relax in a vintage garden setting with drinks, snack food and gelato on offer.
  • 11:00 am – Jerry Coleby-Williams from Logie-winning ABC Gardening Australia presents Plants that flower all year round in our sub-tropical climate.
  • 12:00 pm – Singer/guitarist Daryl James plays gritty acoustic blues.
  • 1:00 pm – Blooms and Brushstrokes authors Penelope and Tansy Curtin ‘In Conversation’ withTracy Cooper-Lavery, Director of HOTA Gallery.
  • 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm – Succulent Bowl Workshop
  • 2:00 pm – Daryl James returns to the stage.
  • 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm – Spring Floral Workshop 2 – Spring Table Arrangement
  • 3:15 pm – Floral rockstar Julia-Rose creates a sumptuous wearable piece.
  • 4:00 pm – Jaguar Garden Bar closes.
  • 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm – Ink Gin Soirée (Sold Out)

Sunday 8th September

  • 10:00 am – Exhibitor market place opens
  • 10:00 am – Linda Brennan presents Blooming DeliciousHow to grow and cook with edible blooms.
  • 10:00 am – 11:30 am – Succulent Bowl Workshop
  • 11:00 am – Jaguar Garden Bar opens.
  • 11:00 am – More Than That Indigenous youth performance group with choreography by acclaimed dancer and actor, Alicia Jones.
  • 11:00 am – 2:00 pm – Signature High Tea (Sold Out)
  • 11:30 am – Bart Hassam, of Maison Fleur Floral Design, Brisbane and winner of the 2019 World Cup of Floral Design on stage.
  • 11:30 am – Blooming Incredible Edibles
  • 1:00 pm – Griffith University botanist Catherine Pickering showcases plants that work on high-rise balconies and attract native butterflies and bees.
  • 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm – Succulent Bowl Workshop
  • 2:00 pm – Grab a drink from the bar and enjoy award-winning Galapagos Duck play favourite jazz numbers and bring the Festival to a close.
  • 3:50 pm – Draw of the Sheraton Grand Mirage door prize.
  • 4:00 pm – Jaguar Garden Bar closes.
