Last year in Spring, the Main Beach Flower Festival bloomed for the first time. The event brought 1000s of gorgeous flowers (and 1000s of smiling faces) to Tedder Avenue over two exciting days.

The Tedder Avenue Shopping Precinct was awash with flowers, food, fashion and fun – not to mention the free events and demonstrations that took place on our rooftop stage. Visitors enjoyed relaxing at the Jaguar Bar, immersing themselves in floral installations and sculptures by Floral Rockstar, Julia Rose and casting their votes for the ‘people’s choice’ award for the Student Floral Competition, judged by 2019 World Floral Design Champion Bart Hassam.
With 100,000 blooms from local growers and wholesalers, free and paid workshops, Porsche and vintage cars, exhibitor stalls and pop-up shops, the 2 days were fun-filled and delightful. There was also a range of free children’s activities and face painting, live music, street entertainment and a sold-out Signature High Tea and Ink Gin Soirée. All who attended had a fabulous time and we look forward to bringing a bright physical festival to you once again in 2021. For now, please enjoy our ‘phygital’ incarnation with digital content from here and around the world and some bright ‘physical flourishes’ for locals to enjoy on Tedder Ave. on June 27th and 28th
